This weekend we headed north to spend a belated birthday with grandpa and grandma.
Isaac had a new basketball, a reward for a great report from his teacher, and brought it along. The guys and I went to a local gym to shoot some baskets.
The next morning was sunny, although rain was predicted. My daughter had asked repeatedly if we could go to the zoo while we were there, so we went for it.
The zoo in Tulsa is a little smaller than the one closer to our house, which made it a bit easier to see almost everything there in the time we had (although we were still a little late getting back for lunch). We also were a little closer to some of the animals than at ours.
After the birthday lunch, the kids played a bit more before heading home.
So grateful for the great weather (it was raining at home all day) and fun time with the family!
