Since we got an unplanned extra week before school started, we decided to make a trip to the zoo. We hadn't been there since Christmas break, although we did watch quite a few of the okczoo@2 videos they made during their COVID shutdown. We knew they had added some new areas, and as an added bonus it was surprisingly cool that day for August. That makes the animals happy too!

We ate our usual picnic lunch there by the lake, and then headed on over to pick up some slices of pie across town at Pie Junkie. A perfect way to end our summer break.
