Now that is it July, I thought I would post some pics of Father's Day weekend--before it is August. We visited my in-laws, and as you can tell from this picture of Isaac, it was energy-sapping hot.
But by late afternoon, it was time for the sprinklers to come on. We forgot the swimsuits but that didn't matter.
After that, Grace discovered the little fairy house her grandma had added since we were there last.
The next day we headed out for Father's Day lunch at the Japanese hibachi steakhouse in town. Both of the kids thought this was great fun.
Isaac seemed to like the food. Grace ate mostly rice, but she wasn't eating much that weekend anyway. Best of all, they served ice cream for dessert, which everyone ate!
