Blue--a December quilt

This weekend I needed to do something constructive, something to balance out the craziness, so I tackled the mound of presents to be wrapped. And I finished a quilt. I can now walk into that room again!

This is the quilt for my son. So far he has liked what he has seen so I don't think I will have to stick this in the for sale pile like the other one!

His main requirement was that it was blue.

I saw a rail fence style quilt by Luke Haynes and it helped me figure out what to do with "blue."

Even found some blue with soccer balls to mix in.
He also picked out the backing (I was looking for something more patterned--glad I asked!).

Another quilt done--and another present under the tree, well, once I add the tissue paper and take it there.
