I keep waiting to post a finished quilt but instead have ended up with two quilt tops ready to be quilts, if I will will sit down long enough to finish them.
Last week I finished my x plus quilt.
I really like how it turned out so far. I have the backing and even have it basted.
but I haven't decided how I want to quilt it. Lately when I free motion quilt I break at least 3 needles and that is a BIT frustrating. I think I start pulling too much and make the needle hit the metal plate. It makes me a bit hesitant to get started though.
So I grabbed a stack of fabrics I had set aside and put together another top while thinking about it. This is probably how people end up with 10 to 12 unfinished projects.
A cheerful, colorful little quilt. I also have the backing fabric for this so MAYBE I will have two March finishes done early!

Love the colors. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteYour x + quilt is gorgeous! Beautiful fabrics. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the way you used your Momo fabric in the second top. Those large prints are hard to handle sometimes. Your x+ quilt is stunning. I LOVE the grey background.
