This year I planned super early for our fall break and booked a stay in Santa Fe. We hadn't been able to go there in several years, maybe 5, and all of us were ready to go back. We did a bit of wandering, eating, hiking, and just soaking up the cooler weather and sunshine.
We visited the Georgia O'Keefe museum as well as the Museum of International Folk Art. Most of the rest of the time we were either outside or, when dark, in the condo we rented.
My son had been wanting to so some mountain hiking ever since he returned from Mountain Camp this summer, so I found Picacho Peak for us to hike too.
The number one thing on Grace's list for the trip was the Farmer's Market, so we headed there Saturday morning.
On our way home, we made our lunch stop near the Cadillac Ranch west of Amarillo. It was a great time to stretch our legs and get ourselves out of the car for awhile.
So grateful for the chance to get away, even if only for a few days. And if you are still reading after all of those pictures, thanks for your patience!
