I worked hard most of this year to make quilts that weren't pink, or pink and orange. I had so many of those last year. This was a set I had stashed for awhile though, and finally saw what I want to do with it. It was a busy month so I needed all the inspiration I could get.
This one is a smaller quilt, maybe 36" square. The center was a set of 4 block in a reverse Irish chain pattern. I still had a ton of the squares left over after those four but didn't want to make more of the large blocks to make it come out even, so I framed those instead.
The backing is a gray print with dark pink flowers. I'm not really sure where I got it but it was wide enough without piecing and coordinated well with the grays and pinks of the top.
