This month I will finish a couple of quilts. I am quilting one but have already finished another one. I wanted to hand it off to family rather than mailing it, so I made sure I finished it up in time to do that.
This one is for a baby girl expected in June. I decided to go with a simple 9 patch to make good use of the fabrics I had on hand, including several gray fabrics already cut to size from a previous baby quilt (some times I cut way too much!).
I finished it off with a flannel backing and it's ready to pass on to the new family! Now on to finish up the next one while I have a bit of free time, before the end-of-school events schedule goes crazy for our family.
