Fall quilts and other projects

I feel like I slowed down quite a bit this fall. With some travel, increased workload, a surprise job search committee, and who knows what else I didn't make as many as have in the past. But I did make a few!

So in September nothing much. In October I made a couple of boxy pouches, one as a gift and one as a future gift, or to sell if I don't decide on a recipient.

And I went to a quilt show then a quilt shop to add a few more solids (mostly) to my stash.

NOT MY WORK

I went to a football game with my dad, one of two that they lost this season. Someday maybe they will win again when I am in the stadium.

I dressed up as the candy queen for our Fall Festival since my job is the refill candy cart. I did not get a picture. Did not even remember to ask anyone to take a picture so this is all I have from after the festival:

In November I made a quilt with a quiltalong. The sun pattern has changed in my backyard, so I couldn't get good pictures. I thought I would try later but now it is winter temps -- so probably not.

After a lot of thought on a pattern, I also made a quilt top out of a set of Hawaiian prints and shirts I had. I am still waiting on some of the backing, so it will be a December finish. I am also working on a Christmas patchwork quilt, and should be able to finish that top this weekend. That's all for now!
