Back in May I started a quilt for my mom. As I started working on it though, I realized it wasn't really her. And then I decided to omit the borders and it was baby quilt size. I set it aside when I finished the top, but this month decided to finish it.
It is almost 3' x 4', much smaller than the last one I made. The pattern is from Scrappy Quilts. It is by Monica Solorio-Snow called Scrap Happy. Hers used reproduction fabric--mine's a bit brighter. It's a mix of fabrics from Hobby Lobby and Jo-Ann. The light green with the red and white flowers is Benartex House and Garden.
The pin dot fabric I had left for the back was a bit short, so I added a strip of leftover fabric. I should've added two rows, because after I got it all quilted I had to cut down the pin dot border from 4" to 3" to cover the batting.
I'll save this one for a bit and see if any friends decide to have babies.

Love the bright colors you chose for this quilt! Perfect for a happy little baby someday :)
