Watonga 2019

After vacation, the kids and I loaded up with some of the youth and university students from our church to go to Watonga for our summer mission trip. We have been there before, and always partner with the Watonga Indian Baptist Church to provide activities for their children. We have hosted sports / art camp, and several VBS camps over the years, and this year we stuck with the VBS. We began our week with a multi-church, multi-cultural, and multi-language worship service, an amazing chance to join with others in that community to worship our God. Then Monday we began.

In the afternoons, we rested a bit and checked out some of our favorite spots at Roman Nose State Park and restaurants in Watonga.

This year we added a field trip to the Stafford Air and Space Museum in Weatherford.

It was a great week of serving God and sharing life together with this great group of students and adults.

And now I think I am all caught up from July. Whew.
